Tumblr I need your help!
Awareness costs nothing and I’d much appreciate it you could reblog this and encourage others to, I’m not looking for people to donate I just want people to see it and understand the risks involved!

My names Ben Carr, I’m 20 years of age and live in Great Yarmouth. Around this time last year I was taken to hospital with severe clotting on my left lung and in my left leg. I’ve strong reason to believe that it started in the January of 2010 and was only treated at the beginning of June the same year. Despite seeing 3 separate doctor’s with the issue it was never diagnosed as thrombosis until 6 months in. I had a lucky escape, doctors are still trying to work out why and how it happened even now. I’m 20 years old and I’m on Warfarin(tablets) everyday for the rest of my life, I was told that if I’d have left it any later that my trip to A&E would have been my last.
I’ll be making people aware of the LifeBlood and trying to raise awareness as much as possible during the 9th - 13th and shall upload a video about my own experience. I know the effects these clots will have had on me long term and short term and I want to be part of the prevention not one of the problems.

- The reason I’m showing you this is that although my next video is a comedy documentary I’d like some support for the video after it. The charities main aim is NOT to fund raise and ask for donations, but to raise awareness to the mainstream that having thrombosis and a pulmonary embolism can kill if not treated soon enough. Please support me in just posting the video about etc. As I said I know the effect it can have on a person, I’d hate for it to happen to you.
